How do you keep your Deerview blind windows from fogging in the winter? Will a product like Rain-X wipes work?

A heater in the blind will help.

When I turn the heater on is when they fog up.

Might need a vent. Do they all fog or just the one you breath at?

You are right, they all fog except the one directly above the heater. I only use the heater to take the nip out air ever once in awhile.

If you leave the heater running it will eventually dry the air in the blind and clear the Windows.

Thanks Cast but but I am looking for a alternative other than running a heater nonstop in a 4x4 blind. I prefer not to be sitting in the blind singing "Chesnuts roasting on an open fire". clap

Crack that window, the one that's fogging, just a little bit. Should clear right up. Seems out at our place, the tighter a blind is, the worse they fog up.

I was going to say the same, "don't be a wuss, crack that window open a bit".

This is Texas, not Minnesota. Dress appropriately and open the darn windows.

I didn't ask for anyone's opinion on how I should hunt. You know what they say about opinions, "Opinions are like YOU, everybody's got one", or something like that.

Put shaving cream on windows and wipe off with dry cloth. Problem solved

I looked up anti fog solutions. They are just window cleaners, alcohol and water. Try cleaning one real good and see if it fogs like the rest of the Windows.

The only way to prevent the fogging with the windows closed is to use a vented heater because the combustion of natural gas, propane, wood, coal and other fuels produces water in a vapor form. With the cold temperature outside and the moisture condenses on the inside of the window. You just can't change physics.

Bad move if you care about scent control.

I've tried the fog wipes in my Dillon blind and they did help. Buddy of mine bought a spray on line from target that's intended for bathroom mirrors. He says that works best

What do think will happen when you open the window to shoot if you are relying on that for scent control ? The wind is going to get you if you vent or do not vent.
