Went out a right before Christmas with a good friend and did a little bird hunting. Even though this pup is getting up there in years she was still a machine on the birds. I finished with a limit of quail and two roosters and my hunting buddy finished with a limit of quail as well. There are more quail this year than I think I have ever seen.

Enjoyed the pictures , looks like a swell friend there beside you in the truck ! Might I ask , where did you get the pheasants ? I thought those were more up north in Kansas area .

I do not know where the got these, but the Panhandle is covered with them. People come from all over the united states to pheasent hunt here. Here in Dumas they have a community breakfast for all the hunters and then head out. Last I knew the going price was $250:00 for 4 hrs hunting. daily limit 3, position limit 6.

These birds were taken north of Muleshoe.
