I have a Damascus knife I was given in a trade and the sheath it came with is is coming apart because the blade has cut the stitching due to the fact there was nothing to stop the blade from going in too far. It also lacks a retaining loop or anything like that.

Anyone know who can make me a belt sheath for it that will stop the blade from bottoming out and have a retention loop around the handle?

I am an Anza dealer and can get a sheath for you that might fit. I know that he puts small brass brads (or something like that) along the blade portion to keep the knife from cutting through.
