Finally got the dogs out on some Texas upland game. Hunted SW of Dallas, averaged 4 covies an hour in the morning, 3 in the afternoon. Scenting conditions with snow just melted, 40 degrees, 5mph wind, and cloudy all day were EPIC. I think we had one non-pointed covey of the 22 we found on Saturday.
Afraid to post any pics of dead birds on this forum anyone, but thought some pics of dogs on point would be ok

Really enjoy looking at great pictures of beautiful pointing dogs pleasing their owners. There is nothing more gratifying to a bird hunter than watching his dog excel in the field! Keep those pictures coming!
