I have always had trouble getting earmuffs to feel right and block out sound while wearing eye protection so I just never wore eye protection. My boys have started shooting and they need to wear eye and ear protection. The earmuffs and eye protection I have just don't work together. Either they are uncomfortable because the earmuffs are pushing the glasses into the side of their head or the earmuffs don't form around the glasses to the face so there is no noise protection.

What can I do for my boys to protect their eyes and ears while being comfortable?

Just use quality plugs. Even foam will protect them enough to stop any damage.

I have thought about that, but one of the boys doesn't like the loud noise so he gets ear plugs and earmuffs.
