Rex, have you tried putting the t-posts in the ground at the same angle as the feeder legs, instead of just straight up? 10x stronger that way and no danger of falling on one when filling your feeder.

Get a feeder like below and never worry about hogs, cows, or horses tipping it over again.

No, that was a lease members feeder.

Most of the feeders on the property are this style, one or two isn't though.

They probably wouldn't have trashed a metal barrel. Those flimsy plastic feeders the legs break out of the slots pretty easy.

I would have simply built a pen and been done with it. Not a big expense, not a big effort, not much time.

What am I missing?
