As we wrap up our first season hunting in Texas and as new landowners I wanted to say thank you to everyone here on THF. I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about hunting deer in the area as well as hunting in general. I know I ask a lot of dumb questions and stuff that some would consider common knowledge. I really appreciate you all taking to time to still answer them. I look forward to the years to come.

We all learn from each other all the time. I've been hunting in Texas for 20 years, and I'm just now figuring out I don't really know how to hunt. It's tough to hunt a place that isn't an established deer lease with shooting lanes cut, and roads to stands.
