 1st time hunting in Texas

40 hrs driving 20 each way would start back tomarrow if could. Hunted in South Texas for 4 days Loved every minute last week On a hog hunting pkg. Seen all kinds of wildlife just watching the deer is a treat for a Hoosier Hunter I took a hog.javelina real nice cosican and a ring tail cat that same evening I took my cat everybody in my hunting party took 1 total 8 ringtail cats in 1 hrs driving out from hog hunting I'll be back

Texas deer may not have the body size of the northern deer, but we more than make up for it with all of our hunting options.

Welcome Dave, Texas is a target rich environment. My brother and I used to run a trap line every winter near San Angelo and I can't tell you how many ringtails I've skinned. Well done!

Alway have wanted to do the grand slam turkey someday over it I'll run and hunt in Texas I'll be back down next year if not before
