Did I miss something? Where the heck is it? Maybe they retooled the LR machines during the LR shortage. Surely it isn't obsolete! Even with 17HMR increasing in popularity...

Guy @ Academy told me (I know, I know) don't waste your time buying a .22 mag gun because you'll never be able to shoot it due to no ammo.

Let folks believe there will never be sufficient supply of .22 Mag ammo ever again so they'll sell off all their Smith 48s cheap. Buy 'em all up. Then bide your time.

I picked up two boxes of Hornady 22 mag at the Victoria Academy last Monday. They had a couple of bricks on the counter.

I know several places that have 22 WMR ammo in stock. They only want $25 a box for it, that's why it's setting on the shelf.

Like .22lr, 22 mag is starting to come back. I suspect that the hoarders are approaching saturation.

Monday? I wouldn't be surprised to see overreaction.

I have a feeling 22mag is hard to find because of all the Kel-Tec PMR-30s on the market now. Kinda how .380 was hard to find when everyone started making pocket .380 guns

Dang. Forgot about the keltec. That seemed like a cool pistol when they debut it. But I have never seen or held one.

I agree with JC about the Keltec.
However, I bought some online the other day from Outdoor Limited for somewhat decent prices. Also, Palmetto had CCI on sale for $14.99 in November.
If you can post on here, you can get .22 mag ammo.

ONLY thing harder to find than 22LR is 22-mag. Found my last box 1.5 years ago. my .223 is cheaper to shoot...... Maybe by NEXT Christmas . . .

$14.99 is good but how much per round was it to your door? I bought some at Walmart here in 2012 and the Addison Walmart (of all places) in 2013.
Pass the gravy.

I haven't had many problems finding it in the $15 range.

Not too much more than tax and whatever time/gas it would have cost me to go get it locally, if it was available.

Cabela's had quite a bit on their shelves last weekend. IIRC it was $13.99 for a 50 round box of Winchester.
