Hunted a NTX Corp lake this morning and had 2 hunters show up after us. They asked if They could hunt the other side of a big timber hole we were in. We told them yes. They set up 400 yds from us. They did not call at our ducks they didn't over call. They were down right pleasurable to hunt alongside. We showed them the same courtesy. If you were 3 guys in a canoe in NTX I want to say thank you. More total birds were killed by all because we all showed duck hunting etiquette like the old days.

Had a group of guys set up 50-75 yds on both sides of me this morning. Both showed up late to the party. I was tempted to holler some words to them, but calmer heads prevail and such.

Good deal. How hard is it to show a little common courtesy?? I don't mind if someone sets up 150 yards from me if they lay off the kazoo, shoot birds that are over the deeks, and not be loud and obnoxious. Oh, and don't yell at your dog!

I dry load my boat. I use a winch to pull it out when I'm done. Takes some manhandling, but no ramp requied. A hinge pin trailer is a life saver. I can load and unload pretty much wherever.

It can get old, but I find it somewhat entertaining hearing folks berate their dog all morning.

I usually set up pretty close to people. If they don't say anything I think it's given that I'm far enough away
I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.
