Knowing they all play a factor; What one of these do you think plays the "most significant" factor in affecting deer sightings and overall hunting success?

In my area it is poaching, first, and coyotes second.

Plenty of cover, plenty of food, plenty of water, low deer sightings. Local farmers tell me of deer carcases they see all year long.

Lowfer here... Ya forgot HF... With with a HF ya can control preditor's such as yotes & stray dogs... With HF corn-protien feeders & food plots ya can achieve abundant food sources... & with HF can control surrounding hunter pressure from caveman like minded who support the BBT ... 4 deer county here & been seeing very few pics of deer on cam's... they so scared they camera shy...

Sneaky, I'm leaning towards this one too...You can't bring in what doesn't abundantly exist...

Low deer densities coupled with predadation, higher hunting pressures and overly abundant natural food sources all come together for a perfect storm of sub-par hunting season/s...

Yep. I guess there's not a whole lot you can do about densities in a given area. Just have to work with the factors you can affect. That just means you get to occupy yourself with farming and killing more coyotes. Not a bad deal, really.

Theres a reason it wont abundantly exist though.. if you have enough property and ability you can make any area adopt deer and have good numbers.

Just like the thread the other day on counties like Falls... you can have ten properties adjoining each other and 9 of them will have very little deer ever.... but theres that one in the middle that has food/water/cover in abundance and will have huge numbers of deer... WT are the most adaptable deer out there and can/will live anywere possible... just my 2cents.. BUT true already having deer in abundance makes things easier

If we are talking a bunch of similar propertys water being no issue.. sitting next to each other.. the way one has more than the other during hunting hours is food.... plant a 20acre+ size food plot with variety in it..(oats,wheat,lugumes,turnips) in an area that others only use feeders, small plots and watch the magic...

For us it would be cover & hunting pressure.
