Don't think I've seen a prettier pup.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.

Good looking pup.

Thanks guys! i was shocked at how good looking he was when I picked him up. My wife and kids have been fawning over him since we got him home. I keep talking to them about sending him away for training and they all want to fight me over it. He's definitely won this guy over to

I answered your questions on the other thread in the migratory section.

You are sure to have as much fun with him as I have had with my English Cockers. Spaniels rock! and for years I thought I wanted nothing to do with them. I looked at those eyes and thought they were softies. What a D.A.

I've already ruined one dog trying to do it all myself. Sit, stay, come, and heal are about all I've got. I'm a little to ADD to finish!

I wanted a black lab initially but the Mrs's was set on a smaller breed. Wasn't too sure but all signs pointed toward this being a good breed. Now that I have him I couldn't imagine anything else. I've only had him a few weeks but I can tell he is different for sure. If he performs in the field the way he does in the house we will be full blown converts to the Boykin breed for sure.

Cute pup. If the women folks in your house have taken to him, you may have to get another bird dog. bolt

I've heard a lot of positive things about the breed. Pretty pup.

Gosh he's cute. Boykins are a relatively new breed. I once contemplated breeding them but it's too hard to tell what you'll get even if you line breed.

We've trained 4 in our kennel so far. They don't deal with pressure well so whoever you do choose better be flexible and imaginative.

Yup, he's cute all right and has really sharp teeth! Here are two stitches in my ear lobe that I ended up with last night after a play session. He jumped up and nipped my ear...thank the lord I'm not one of those ear ring type guys!

Good looking dog

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE
