I guess it's ok to use whatever you have in hand (on hogs) - what 'caliber' of pickup did he use?
Seems a bit expensive way to go hoggin'

My wife hit one with our Excursion. Bumper looked like a giant steel egg had hit it. Hog lost that one!

Welcome, and tell your dad that we do not normally hog hunt that way in TX. I have seen a small car that flipped after hitting a big sow.
