I managed to call three smaller coyotes out of the bottom and one larger coyote from behind me that seemed to be dominant over the other three coyotes. He seemed to try to shoo them away, stopping to mark his territory along the way...

Good job!

I'm going with Alpha Male.

Could be enlarged prostate...I suppose, but I'm sticking with A/M.

Nice!
Video with MkII is awesome!

I have been eradicating yotes as well.
Farmer was having problem with them chewing on the poly drip pipe in the fields.
When they start the pumps the pipes that have been chewed on make large puddles of water and the rest of the row gets none.
Have not seen any hogs in months, but yotes are getting me out hunting.
Hope to see some hogs this spring when crops are planted and water melons are harvested.
I am heading out to see if I can call up some yotes, cold front just came thru.
Should be nice for thermal, as the humidity level will be low.

So the yotes are going after the residual water in the lines??

Guarding watermelons should be a heck of a job! What doesn't like to eat those?

The MKII actually seems to do better than the FLIR Tau2-based systems when it comes to dealing with humidity. I think you would like it just fine!

I don't think its the water because of all the standing water in the fields.
I think it's something that smells like something they want to eat.
I don't know if small fish get squashed and pumped into the poly pipe cuz filters are used to make sure debris does not clog the small holes in the pipe.

I have looked thru the mkII 19mm and the IR250 thanks to BRD and Ed Garza and they have a much better contrast, especially in high humidity. The 640 core and 12u pixel size with the 19mm lens is impressive. The 2x and 4x look better then my 75mm lens with the 336 17u core at 1x. FOV is great with 640 and 19mm.
I compared them to my armasight 336 75mm 60hz. I would like to get one in the near future.
Just have not had the hogs to go after like a few years back, so no big push to get one.
