You ought to be happy with the Ruger.
My buddy got the 6.5 last month.
It shot fantastic right out of the box. Touching holes with Hornady. It even liked a couple of reloads we threw together to test out.
I thought it was a very comfortable rifle to shoot.
You will also like the Omega :-)

I've heard some really great things about that new Ruger rifle. Went to Cabela's in the D/FW area the day after Christmas to try to "see one in person," but the only one they had was on layaway and they couldn't/wouldn't break it out for me to look over. Keep us up to date with your experience with it. Maybe I need to start saving up some Social Security checks for a big buy this year!

I've had it for 2 months. It's a freaking shooter with factory Hornady match ammo. Friend has one with custom barrel and pretty much shooting one hole on target every trip we go.

Good pairing of rifle and scope. It's great news that this rifle is shooting well. How does it feed, cycle, and eject?

I bought mine off a guy on another forum. U can join Ruger Precision Rifles on Facebook and they generally update places that have them in stock.
Fireman it does great. I've had zero complaints on anything with the gun. I'm currently waiting on ACIS PMag 10rdmags to b released as I can load longer coal
