I would not even think about hunting with them. They screwed my 83 yr old uncle royally on an axis hunt a couple of years back.

We hunted some rams a couple years ago. My brothers and I took our five kids, several of them had not harvested an animal before this trip. The kids all had a good time, the hunting was not difficult and the pasture we were on was beautiful. We had one guide for all of us so there was some waiting around, but we were able to sit up high and see plenty of game. The animals were not considered trophies, but all the kids were satisfied, which made all the dads happy. They have a new lodge now which is good because the old one wasn't good. Bottom line - it was a cheap hunt to take the kids on and everyone had a good time. I believe they have some trophy pasture too, but we didn't hunt them.

I would suggest that there are a number of reliable well-known outfitters on this board who offer modestly priced hunts of good value. To be more blunt, any outfitter who can survive on this board for more than a year or two takes care of his business because this is a tough crowd and there's nowhere to hide when a customer is unhappy. I'm not suggesting they're all saints by any means, but, as a group, they're extremely hard working and will do almost anything within reason to make sure that you have a good hunt for a fair price.

Why take a chance on an unknown outfitter or one with a 50-50 reputation? Use the search tool to see the hunts that have been offered in this section and in the exotics section and I'm sure that you'll find a good deal on a good hunt offered by a reliable guide.

If you want to go kill something and see lots of critters that's the place to go.
Its not really a hunt but somewhere to kill.

My cousin's father in law bought them a hunt there early this year. He said the area they hunted was 40 or 50 acres and the animals ran up to the truck when they drove in. Do a Google search on them so you know exactly what you are getting into. There are plenty of reviews.

Locals hate them, enough said. Google and you will find many reviews, all bad.

Even some of their own family can't stand them.

Thanks for the report to those who had experience with this group. I was checking for a family friend who asked me if I'd heard anything about them. I'll pass on the info.

Well if you are not willing to say it I will. Thanks to EVERYONE that took the time to give an opinion in your thread. I did not read anything that I did not consider very helpful with answering your question. Maybe some of the wonderful, reputable people that took their own time to try and help you out did not have "first hand" experience with the place you asked about but know more than enough to give you very valuable info. This forum is an unbelievable resource for people to ask questions and save a lot of heartache and money. I am fixing to bring my daughter to Texas for her first hunt based on info gained from this website and the great people that take the time to post information.
