We had one shooter buck and the wife clipped the liver and sure nuff it got away. That was early in the season, looking for 5 hours and using a tracking dog.

I won't be able to get out till New Yrs day. I hope I can close the deal on a buck as the season comes to an end.

This is the time of year when you might see several bucks that have returned to their bachelor groups.

Very cold weather, which we are about to get, can bring the bucks back out of hiding to feed during late season.
Thank you...thank you very much
