Non stop action all morning long. We finished with a 3 man limit of mallards. It was awesome. Several times we had over 100 birds working the spread at one time. Two more days left.

A lot of the birds that would typically be in Texas this time of the year must be lounging around up there in Kansas. It's one of my favorite spots, lots of birds and friendly people.

I'm headed to Hutchinson in a few weeks, should be a good hunt.

Solo hunt this morning. The other two wimps couldn't hang and slept in. A lot less birds but I still got my 5 green heads and my first speck.

Always make the hunt.... ALWAYS... now, napping the whole afternoon after the hunt is free game but the hunt must be made!

Agree with that, even if it's an abbreviated hunt that day or it is a bust. Gotta go.
