Have had Game-Camera out since Sept. Very good Photos. Checked it today. The film over the lense. Is shredded out. Looks like. Sharp instrucment poked several holes into it. Lense, itself; is shatterd. Camera was 3' off the ground. Mounted on T-post. Opening 20 yards from feeder. No trees or Ceder around it. Thoughts? Thank you.

Raccoons or woodpecker. What did the card show? All cameras make barely audible noses that critters can hear. They are curious and try to find out if it is a meal inside.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

A buddy of mine lost a game camera to a woodpecker. I wasn't sure I believed him, but did a Youtube search and found this... According to the folks who manufactured my buddy's camera, the woodpeckers hear the mechanism inside the camera and apparently think they are hearing bugs inside, sort of like they do with trees. So they peck away, trying to get at the bugs...

Woodpeckers. Have replaced numerous cameras because of the same issues.

When I worked for the phone company running trouble, I found several hard plastic enclosures they had pecked thru. It was plastic every bit as hard as game cameras. One had even made a nest inside one. And you should see what they have done to my chimney at my house! It looks like Swiss cheese!
Mmmm Hmmm

When properly grilled, Wood Peckers are deliciious.

Build a cage around the camera with welded wire.
