I made this one several months ago. 3 1/2 inches closed, titanium liners with mammoth ivory handles. Blade, bolsters, back spacer and thumb stud from damascus I made with 1075 and 15n20.

Just gorgeous! Just out of curiosity, is mammoth ivory expensive to get? I've been watching "Gold Rush" and the Hoffman crew found a large mammoth tusk and just threw it aside.

Yes it's expensive and they put it aside because you have to be licensed and a either be a Inuit native or Alaskan native one of the two I think. I do know that not just anyone can keep or sell it.
