What are your thoughts? Read that it has a heavy trigger pull, 8#, more pros than cons.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

My brother in law has one, it goes bang every time. Not the most accurate due to the trigger but not bad either. Honestly it's a pretty good value and if I had it to do over again I might even buy it over the M&P and just put the APEX trigger kit in it.

Excellent value for the money. I prefer the Stoeger Cougar in that price range but wouldn't feel handicapped in the least if I had the Smith.

Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Heavy trigger for sure. If you like glocks you will like it because it is a glock. S&W still has to pay a royalty to glock for each one they sell. I will be buying a stoeger cougar

I've shot several variants over the years and owned one. The grip design fits my hand better than just about any pistol I've ever shot, so it's very comfortable. The trigger, however, is a different story. They have one of the worst triggers I've ever shot. The ones I've shot are very heavy and not the least bit smooth. I've never been able to get around the trigger.
