Have the tamales been cooked (steamed) yet? Did you buy them from someone ready to eat before freezing, or were they just made and frozen? If the masa has not been cooked yet you need to steam them before they're ready for the table. If they are frozen ready to eat, my favorite way to re-heat them is to thaw them out...shuck them....and toast them up in a skillet over medium/medium high heat. You can throw them in the oven, microwave etc but I prefer the skillet. Dip in hot sauce, now my mouth is watering.....

If they are in a vacuum sealed bag and frozen, I place them in boiling water 25 minutes

I just had 16 toasted in the skillet, I'm full. Full of meat too, man they were good! Can't blame this extra weight on the holidays though, I was fat in August.

Had to quit today at 10 tamales...I don't think I can run that many miles to work them off. Enjoyed the heck out of eating them, but I'm just glad they are gone and not in my fridge all the time. I don't think I could control myself.
