Other than not getting the velocity I'm wanting, this thing has blown me away. Very accurate with my hand loads, pretty accurate with factory ammo, and accurate at distance! I saw two of them at the last TXPRC match, and they preformed very well.

Good video, Ryan.

2600 fps with a 140 gr? A-max or Berger?

In any case, it is certainly a consistent shooter. Heck of a bargain for what you get. I'm considering a Burris to pull duty on two rifles. It seems as though it's doing a good job for you.

140 hybrid. The 43 grain load is what I'll go with it's at 2670, but out of my old 6.5 Creedmoor bartlein barrel I was getting 2830 from the same load of 43 grains.

Just a barrel length difference?

And some barrels are faster than others, of course.

25 vs 24 inches, the bartlein was just a faster barrel. I'd like to get 2750 ish out of the Ruger.

Good shooting and report.

160fps between barrels with one inch difference doesn't really surprise me and the inch is not the main difference. Have seen as much as 200fps difference with guns from the same manufacture of the same model and caliber. Some barrels are just faster than others, chamber cut can and does have some to do with it as well.

Hearing a lot of people are getting that out of the barrels chad Dixon at lri is producing. Might me a nice upgrade ar some point. And his bolt shrouds that replace the plastic crap ruger uses are the nice too.
