Well, my 9 yo informed that he wants to shoot a coyote on his Christmas break. I told him we could go sit in the deer stand and wait on one - that wasn't good enough. He informed me that he wants to do it like the TV shows - shooting sticks and e-caller. I've got a caller and the sticks, so we're going to try to make it happen. If I come up short, does anybody know of any predator hunting outfits within about an hour drive from Tyler/Lindale? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have an answer for you, but let me just say, as a dad, you are doing it right!

I am sure somebody here will come up with some options for you.

Just a shot in the dark because I don't know of anyone else over there, but you might try the Hog Hit Men at (903) 316-4275. I know they hunt the greater Tyler area a lot. They are hog guys, but might put you on some yotes or know someone who can...

Good luck! Never miss a chance to hunt with your son or daughter... up

Thanks guys. He's really gotten into it over the last 2-3 years. I took him on a deer hunt in Eldorado this year and he shot he first 2 deer - a couple of cull bucks. He was on cloud 9! And I was too!

Thanks for the replies!

If we weren't under water right now, yall could come out to our place just outside of Carthage and probably stack them up like cord wood.
