Well hope he comes back bit if he doesn't maybe you see him next year without the broken tine. BTW I might have missed that one too lol. Great looking buck and I would have been shaking!

No way to know. As a kid I sat with my dad while he was hunting a really nice 9pt came in after a does with his neck streached out parallel to ground after the doe. Dad shot and missed deer ran away. About 1 hour later a doe came in behind us with and like he was on a string right on her tail out came the big 9. He stopped in the sendero looked at the blind with his neck vertical and dad squeezed off another round and the buck dropped. When we got down the buck had a graze on the bottom of his neck from the first shot, it just cut the hair. Checked the zero when we got back to camp and the gun was 4 inches low.
