I like the Redfield Counterstrike. It has the red dot as well as a red laser

Burris MTAC 1-4. Forget about a red dot.

I got Aimpoint PRO and love it In your experience, that's what you would recommend? for what I use it for I think it's great. I use it on hogs out to 200 yds and it makes for easy aquisition of the target bc both eyes are open. Getting a magnifier soon and that should extend my range a little. It's a great sight.

Aimpoint PRO's are great. I used to run a T1 but got rid of it for a 1-4x on my sbr. Changed that to my 308AR and went back to a red dot on my sbr again. Didn't want to spend the money for an Aimpoint again so I opted for the primary arms micro dot with 50k+ battery life. So far it has worked great pretty much exactly same as the T1 idk if I'd take it to war but for what I use it for it works great and at a quarter of the price as the Aimpoint and it has the 50k+ hours and night vision capability that the T1 had.

I have an Aimpoint Micro but the're a bit more than $500. I'd probably look into the Pro. But like KRoyal mentioned, Primary Arms makes some pretty decent budget red dots and they appear to stand behind their products.

Where I work, Aimpoints are the majority. Batteries will last for a year and mine stays on and has been on since August
