Awesome work !! What kind of sewing machine do you use on the purses? My wife sews purses and is thinking about expanding to doing leather as well.

Marrying into the family will be tough because I only have one sister. Lots of brothers though, and with the recent supreme court ruling...

To sew leather you need an industrial walking foot machine, preferably with compound feed.

I personally use a Consew 206RB which was mostly used for upholstery, canvas tarps, parachutes, sails, and stuff like that. It will sew up to 3/8" thick leather though. Mine is a flatbed machine, so purses are tough to sew. Ideally, you would want a cylinder arm walking foot machine
