i guess i am not smart enough to understand the rules about special youth hunting seasons. we hunt down in kendall county and this came up last year when the kiddos wanted to hunt during the late antlerless and spike season. it is also concurrent with the late youth only season.
i cant find it on the tpwd website for some reason but i thought i read somewhere that in kendall county the late youth only season had the same restrictions in terms of what they can shoot as the first two days of regular adult season...which would mean they can shoot bucks if they have not filled out their tags for bucks yet.
can somebody help me clear this up. we actually saw some decent deer late late season that they wanted to shoot but it was not clear so they walked.
