Was thinking about getting one wanted to know if anybody had one. Do you think it would be a good varmint coyote gun.

Too much room for error. It'll have to be a perfect shot. A lot will take it and run off. 223 is ok for coyotes but I prefer a 243 for coyotes.

Never had a problem shooting yotes, feral dogs, or small pigs with the WSM or the HMR. Never had one take it and run off, but I don't take body shots with a bullet that small either. I use 223's & 243's for deer and larger hogs. To each their own I guess. If it didn't work for me, I wouldn't use it. Been dropping yotes with them itty bitty bullets for a long time, but use a bigger gun if you want to.

Yes, the Bmag is plenty for coyotes with proper placement. People will discuss run offs all day in ALL calibers. My Bmag is now my backup gun since I got the new Franklin upper in WSM.

Hope the wind doesn't blow over 5 mph while trying to shoot a coyote at 100 yards.
