I have a 300 win mag build in a KRG whiskey 3 chassis and I just cant get used to it. So I am going to change stocks. Its a big horn action and bartlein 28in MTU countour barrel. Looking at the Mcmillan A3-5 or maybe the manners T4. Anyone use either of these? Opinions?

I am on the McMillan side of it. The manners stocks are nice but just not for me. Some people are the other way.

Its an expensive road to go down. Your best bet is to try to find a stock your looking for on a gun and feel it up/try it out before buying. The problem is theres not a lot of factory guns out there with these stocks. Next bet is finding a local member. I.E. I have an A5 in Granbury.

My gunsmith has a a5 there now and I'm going by tomorrow to try it out. And your right it's best to try it before you buy but they are kinda hard to find.
