Some of you may have seen my previous posts on my process of picking a puppy.
I originally inquired a breeder about a litter that did not have any more available puppies. He let me know about another litter he had available and I decided to put a deposit down.
That litter ended up being from two dogs under the age of 24 months and did not have their health clearances. He was never misleading or dishonest. I just didn't ask the right questions. With some research and guidance from folks on here and the HRC I joined I decided to put a deposit down on another litter.
I was very excited about this litter because it was from people I would be training with regularly and they have been very helpful.
Well that litter didn't take and I was pretty disappointed as were the dog owners.
They suggested a litter from Jeff Chesnut and Washita Retrievers.
So finally I think baring some catastrophe I'll be picking up "Kimber" January 16th at 8 weeks old.
Very excited and anxious to start. I've been watching Hillmann's DVDs and YouTube videos constantly and TRT2. I can't get enough of it.
