Hunting Archer County this morning but it is slow so far. Nice crisp cool morning but the birds arent even awake yet.

Starting to get a little movement. A young doe and spike just worked by my stand. Never looked at my feeder though.

Catching glimpses of a nice shooter working a doe in and out of the trees. Need them to come 70 yds closer into an opening.

If I saw a nice shooter working his way into shooting range I don't think I'd be giving updates via phone, but you're probably a better hunter than me and I'm quite jealous you get to hunt while I'm stuck at work

Last i saw they were headed in the opposite direction i needed them to. I plan to sit it out a while and see what happens.

Where abouts in Archer County are you? Have a place out there as well, headed up Friday afternoon.

In Northern Archer straight up 79 close to the county line. Rattling is a good option but i left the horns in my truck. Going to try patience this morning and persistence if that doesnt work.
