They don't make them like this anymore, and if they did it would cost a whole lot more than $250. This is a Mossberg Model 151M .22 Long Rifle semi-auto rifle. These rifles were made in the late 40's to mid 50's. It has an absolutely beautiful full length American walnut stock and handguard. Unlike most Mossberg .22's of this time period - it still has the sling swivels. It uses a tube fed magazine in the butt stock. Ramped and hooded front sight. The rear receiver is factory drilled for (and the stock inlet for) a receiver sight - don't have that - but it does have the regular rear ramped leaf sight. The bore is excellent. The original rust style blueing is still nice - a bit of a brown patina to it. The only drawbacks on this rifle are some previous owner stenciled his DL in the buttplate and on the front band. It isn't so visible on the front band - he did a nice deep job on the buttplate though. These parts can be replaced if one desires or refinished, I just left them alone. Price is $200.
First to say they take it, gets it. I do have it cross listed. I need to do a FTF in the North Dallas area (I am in Plano). Either a PM or an email - firstname.lastname@example.org will work to reach me.
