Well finally had a chance to hunt these deer, I was very scared he would break some points off. It was a very warm morning with bey fence fog, could see maybe 80 yards, maybe a bit less. My stand is about 200 yards away from the feeder where I got a few pictures of this buck,,, he only came in between 6:30 and 7:00 am. So I decided to sit on a chair around 80 yards from the feeder with the wind at my face. Got at there at 5:45 AM and walked to where I hoped it was around 80 yards and hands clear shot. One hour went by and I started hearing grunts and deer running, I still could only see no more than 20-40 yards and just body's moving between the brush. I finally saw some antlers of a good 8 point in contrast against the fog he was chasing some does and grunting at 40 yards from me. Then the 8 suddenly got pushed and in my binos ,, the big deer just appeared,, shacking started I could only see the rack because it made good contrast against the fog. The deer came to 30 yards and when I tried to take the rifle I made a sound and he freezes and looks right at me, we stayed both frozen looking at each other for what I thought was an eternity,, probably about 5 minutes. But he didn't made me thanks to the fence fog. He walked away to about 80 yards and I couldn't see his body since I was on a chair at the ground. Got the rifle ready got up pointing but counts see him through the scope,,, needed a few more minutes of light or for fog to go down a bit. So I sit down and wait,, about a minute went by and I tried again and was able to see a body,, was about to shoot and I realize it was th eight point!!! It was so close,, moved the scope a bit and saw the big one and shoot instantly. I was shaking like crazy as I didn't see what happend after the shot. I water 20 minutes and went to the spot I shot him, no deer, no blood, waited about an hour more to make sure the fog went down and he was 80 yards from where I shot him,, Many, many hours , years and season hopping for a chance like this,, I feel really blessed,, and got him on my birthday with my father and brother in the lease. Scored 185 gross.

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

He's got nice burley bases, great mass on main beams and long kickers on his left. I love the 'double row' of tines on his right side. Awesome Buck! Congrats!!
