Although most of my pig guns are stocked in black plastic and carry glass, it is nice to step back and go old school once in a while.

Love your choice of weapon and love that photo.

I sure appreciate all the comments. SW, the rifle is the Rossi version of a M92 short rifle in 45 Colt. It has a 20"octagon barrel and no barrel band. I have owned quite a few of the Rossi lever guns over the years but I believe this was the smoothest out of the box. The only modification I intend on making will be to mount a folding tang sight. The revolver is a Cimarron Firearms Frontier 357 mag with a 4 3/4 barrel. Although I'm a Ruger guy I must say this little revolver has become my favorite. Enough so that my neither my Blackhawk nor OM Vaquero chambered in 45 Colt will be making the next hog hunt. As you can tell I like color case hardened guns. grin

I loved carrying my lever action and pistol, both .357, to hunt hogs. Sold the rifle, because I "had" to have an AR.
