Staggering numbers of birds this AM. Saw 400-500+ tons GWT and red heads/ divers early- pintails and mallards started stacking up around 7:20. Unfortunately I was done in less than 10 minutes- passed on divers- settled for teal- should have waited for big ducks........bird in the hand

Appreciate it, Bobby- she is a machine- had a bunch of ducks down today at same time- plus waterfowl bombing spred. First time I have seen her A D D kick in during a hunt......guess we are all entitled to having an off day.

She is little under 2- my oldest dog- at 12- has been an incredible dog- her dad Oahe Oscar is the most decorated field trial field bred EC ever in the U.S.
Little Daisy apparently has been very "line bred" which produces phenomenal instinct and ability- but jacked up teeth, bad hip, some personality issues. She would never hurt or snap at another human- but is extremely possessive of me, her duck blinds, etc......
She is as good as Zoe was- and steady to wing and shot, at less than 2- the guides this year in South Dakota would come get me when their labs couldn't find a downed bird.
