Wow. The last time I saw a covey that big was near Throckmorton ( bobs). Almost crapped my pants when they took off ( wasn't hunting season). Must have been 23 years ago. We saw a bid covey of blues and bobs mixed 2nd weekend. We estimated 50 + birds. We got 10 out of the group.
