Got a question for the masses here, the smaller local bank I use for a some business accounts put up 30.06 & 30.07 signs about two maybe three months ago, kicker is they are undersized (less than 1" lettering) and only in English not Spanish as well. I brought it up a couple times with some of the employees about them not being proper signage, correct wording just not specs. They stated that their compliance department checked into it and that Banks fall under different requirements for the signage and that what they have up is legal and enforceable. Wondering if anyone knows if this is true or their compliance department is completely wrong, they claim the signs come from some Bank Association that puts out all kinds of publications for various banks.
HHUUMMMM, what to write, what to write, I got nothing.

I think your first impression is correct. Sign means nothing.

What do the numbers designate?

Unless they have changed the rules on the wording recently then the sign means nothing. City of Frisco at City Hall had a 30.05 sign up until about 6 months ago, I just assumed this was done on purpose.
I had a female bank manager at Bank Of AMerica in Irving told me CCL were illegal in all BOA regardless if they had 30.06 sign or not.

What do the numbers designate? 30.06 is concealed carry and 30.07 is open carry

The bank is one place I will for sure carry. If my bank had a 30.06 sign, I'd bank else where.
The employee saying it was illegal anyway, may be the case for employees, but not for customers.

It's legal for me to carry at work but just might get me fired. I carry in banks and now liquor stores since we cleared that up in another thread.

I would get a new bank as you know where they stand on individual rights. Sign lettering must be one inch in height and posted in English and Spanish.

be sure to read the sign carefully, my bank put up signs for both and they each state "without a license" thus making carry legal.

My bank put up a brand new 30.07 sign. They've never had any before. These times they are a-changin The 30.07 signs forbids open carry - which has been illegal for 130+ years in Texas, until now. The specific lack of a conforming 30.06 sign gives you permission to legally carry concealed - same as before.

The sign may not be of "legal" parameters but they can still refuse you access and force you to leave or face trespass charges should you not comply.

The banks use armed guards to protect their money and I'm going to do the same.
Any sign, legal or not, is telling me to bank elsewhere.

If they do call 911 to report you have been warned, it's a $200 Class C Misdemeanor. No max on the number you can get. Now, if they call 911 and the police remove you it is trespassing.
