Got the hoist for my Bday. Hunted solo Thurs. & Fri. and had this 165 lb. old guy step out. Would have been a good 9 pt. to mount but had 2 broken times. Euro mount I guess. Love the receiver hoist!

Congratulations, that's a great old buck. And good on you for using your head instead of your back for loading that deer.

Congratulations! Which hoist did you go with? I've been thinking about getting one of those.

I bought it from Discount Ramps (http://www.discountramps.com/game-hoist/p/DEER-HOIST-SWIVEL/) but through their Ebay listing. It was one of those open-box deals. It is more heavy duty than the others (lifts 500# rather than just 300#). Works great!

The photos look like this hoist... I just added it to my "Wishlist."

Have a swivel lift and without it would not have got last year's 8 pointer or this year's 9 pointer in pickup bed. They were field dressed. The young Studs may do without them but the old guys will certainly appreciate one.
