We plan to open the Isle du Bois entry gate at 4 am instead of 6am to try and accommodate hunters until we get some more ramps open. This will take effect starting Saturday, December 12th.

I feel like I missed something... You did. Here is the run down. One guy is so bored he can't stand himself (that would be me) so he finds whatever little thing he can on the internet and comments on it just to see what happens. Then along comes his buddy who is apparently equally as bored. He tries to throw gasoline on the wood in attempts to get a big old bonfire started. We aren't having any luck thus far. I am sure if I were to say something like brand X mud motor is worthless we could have a volcano on our hands. Not looking for a volcano, just a bonfire for right now.

Very nice of you to post this where it would actually help some people.
I never used that ramp when I lived there. Too far of a run with my little boat and that lake can get pretty saucy in either a North or South wind.

Ahhh, gotcha... sorry for throwing water on your spark... To the OP, that is actually pretty dang nice of them to get up 2 hours earlier for a bunch of cranky duck hunters. I won't be there, but still, good deal...
