Has anyone ever tried out venison heart? I got the idea from watching the meat eater on tv were he made heart tacos. So I have since saved 3 hearts id love to hear your reviews or recipes!!

I like it. I cut it so it unrolls unto a flat piece of meat. Then bread the meat and fry lightly. After that I wrap in bacon and put in oven to finish cooking.

Slice thin, season with Tony's and black pepper, dredge in flour and flash fry in hot peanut oil. Serve immediately. You'll kick yourself for ever throwing them out.

The heart makes a great gravy and fixins! to some it might be gross, but it all table
fare!......
Some old southern cook books have venison hearts and other body parts, all very edible,
or if your making a stew like sauce. Use plenty of garlic! red onions too!

I make it like chicken fry. A little chewy but quite good.
