Well, I finally got the scope figured out. The great folks at Europtic's swapped the Nightforce for the fine Swaro Z-3 2-10X43 German #4 ret. She looks like a really fine hunting rifle, already shows some inherent accuracy once I test some more handloads. Recipe's are listed on targets.

3 shot sight in, looking through the bore method:

Pretty gun, much too nice for me:

Any reason for choosing Hornady brass over Lapua?

Heck of a rifle by the way.

I have that scope on a couple of my rifles. For my uses they're awesome, I love 'em.

Beautiful rifle in a great caliber! up

Like the rifle and the scope for it, looks good and good pairing. Good shooting just getting started with it.

I have the same rifle. I've had good success with 140 grain Accubonds.

I hope to shrink the group with more load development, I'm not a very good shot and the trigger is a little over 3lbs, my other two custom rifles have Jewell Triggers at 1.5# to me easier to shoot smaller groups. The Sako trigger is adjustable but not much below 3lbs or the screw falls out.

I am waiting on the new Hornady EDL-X bullets, I have backordered. I need to try the Accubond, hate to buy 100 though. I did buy a box of Nosler Custom Ammo with the 140 Accubonds.

I'm sure I'll try the Norma brass, I got the Hornadys at a deal.

Thanks for the nice comments rifle

Your rifle should have a single set trigger. Try pushing the trigger forward first. It will lighten it significantly.

Beautiful rifle and scope, the pair looks like a perfect match. I'm sure with load workup and more trigger time we'll be seeing clover leafs. Congrats on the rig.
