Does anyone know if the water levels in Galveston have tapered off back to normal. Both times I've tried to hunt the bay this year, the water has been too high to hunt in my traditional spots.

Just curious if it is more normal now... Both of these times were during the first split... Before we had the back to back cold fronts...

Please help

I'm not sure but I doubt it with how much water is coming down the rivers

That's my fear too. This season has been so crappy for me so far...

You should be able to find some spots in the marsh that are easier to get to now. Get out there and spend a day or two scouting, take a buddy with you though in case you get stuck. I lived and hunted down there for 10 years or so, I assure you there are great spots to be had, I might even show you a few if you PM me. They'd be a little further south, though, but not an outrageous drive.
