Hoping to score a nice S&W model 19, 2.5" or a nice 4" Colt Python. I'm sure all I'll see is AR's, Glocks, Sigs and beef jerky bang

Best deals I find are people walking around with stuff. Some are crazy high but good deals can be found. I don't go to very many anymore. Same stuff at everyone. Most are over priced.

I was at the last Lewisville show. Powder $25 a pound, primers around $25/1000. Picked up a couple good leather gun slings on the cheap. Lots of AR stuff and beef jerky but prices were decent. We went on Sunday morning so it wasn't all that busy and thug factor was low. Best one I'd been to in a while.

The last show in Lubbock had a surprising amount of handguns, both revolvers as well as semiautos. Some ARs but a pretty good variety overall, including a couple of custom rifle companies.

The Lewisville show is the best "non-large" one IMO. IF the guy shows up, there will be a crap-load of powder, primers, bullets. Bought 1K primers, 1K 55gr FMJ, two pounds of powder from him for $135. There is usually a guy right up front with LOTS of el cheapo brand auto pistols for high prices but there are some good deals too. I've bought more stuff at that one and the Wichita Falls show than all others combined.

Pass the gravy.

We spent a couple hours there today. Place was packed. Prices ranged from decent to outright stupid. Bare bones AR-15 for $495.00

Drooled all over a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm. Price was $1399.00. I left it on the table with my slobber. smile

Biggest price variance were on Glocks.

One dealer had the M43 for $549.00

Another had it for $439.00

Both BNIB

The "private sales tables" crack me up the most.

This is the 3rd show we've been to there. All in all a decent venue.

Hey Janie, I'm with you on those Dan Wessons.

I offered $2250 for a minty Python, lowest seller would go was $2800. I passed

I did notice, many of the vendors are taking advantage of our current political climate and raised their gun prices accordingly to take advantage of the increase on people buying in panic

The Dan Wesson Silverback 10mm was $100 higher than it should be. SAW Firearms was one who jacked prices up.

Saw would never charge a normal price for a gun

Or an optic because they file for the rebate before they sell the equipment. BTDT
