I took over my son's .243 to put an X-sight on it, so I thought I'd get him a 7mm/08 to hunt with. Narrowed it down to a Savage Axis or Mossberg Patriot. Savage is about $100 cheaper but will need a stock and trigger job, so I'd basically be at the same cost.
Which one would you get???????
