Pretty well over at my place. Still a little action here and there but not much. Had a great rut this year. Keep an out for a secondary rut coming soon.

I took a buck Sunday morning while he was after a doe. We have a few does with fawns that haven't started their estrus cycle yet.

PEAK RUT in the area I hunt was Nov 11-18

you should have secondary rut this weekend, but the warm temps won't help, neither will the fact that everything is GREEN

Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the input. Hopefully the temps cool down some. Anyone know or recommend a meat storage facility in the San Saba, Lometa area? I used Coates Taxidermy last year but the number I had must not be the right one. We're looking to put about 6 deer down and stock the ole freezers.

Last weekend the bucks were still chasing at our place, going out as well. We shall see how it is, I swear it has rained every weekend since opening day and we are expecting rain again this weekend.
