Ok, so I spotted a badger while deer hunting and saw him go into his hole in the ground. How do I hunt him? Will they respond to a call? Which sound? I really want a badger for the wall.

Do they move their home location often? Because I won't be able to get back down there until after Christams and I hope he is still using the same hole.

I thought about maybe putting some meat up wind from his hole and see if that would make him come out, is that a dumb idea?

Any info is greatly appreciated as I know nothing about badgers. It is the first badger I have ever seen and I have been hunting for 27 years.

Everything I read said to place chicken or something in or next to a recently dug hole. Badgers often come back to old burrows.

Id set a snare or a leg hold trap. No need to wait him out. Go to bed and see whats up the next morning.

Positive thinking may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Of my 30+ years of calling I have called up 3 badgers . If they are in the area they will come to a call. Last one came in to a Syco Tweety
