I must have misread the title of the post. I thought you were looking for dress recommendations while CHL. I typically don't wear dresses but I'll ask my wife for you smile

Thanks again folks, been looking up every holster recommended ,or mentioned. Appendix carry I like, but not sure how it would work, I have to bend over many times a night painting, then sitting on a painting machine the remainder of the night.

Hell, may just have to get a scabbard for he machine and keep the colt 6920 on board scared

BP, I even thought of using a BP vest with a concealed pouch, that is how I carried one of my BU's, but talk about heat retention!

Hey Dennis, I frequently conceal carry in the same general attire as you (jeans/tshirt) and comfortably carry either an XD45 Mod 2 sub-compact or Glock 19 using the new Alien Gear OWB holster or Alien Gear or Sticky Holster or Remora IWB holster (deeper concealment). I guess a lot of people still aren't aware of the changes to the concealed carry laws in Texas. It used to be a "crime" if you inadvertently displayed your weapon like if the wind blew your shirt up or you were reaching up on a top shelf and accidentally displayed your CC weapon. "Printing" (can see the outline of a concealed weapon/holster under your clothing) was a big no no. Those laws changed drastically! The only thing now is you can't intentionally display your weapon in a menacing manner. Point being, in jeans and tshirt, you can conceal carry in the Aliengear OWB holster with just a loose Tshirt over it and not worry if you are "printing" or not or if your shirt rose up etc. With that holster though, it rides snug against your body and conceals quite well and comfortably without having to worry about breaking any dumb laws. In spite of legal open carry, this will still be my preferred carry method

If you wanna run with the big dogs, you gotta get off the porch!

Thanks Jigo, great points, I agree, even with open carry, I don't want to tip off any edge I may have.
