I do not know of anyone in the DFW area with good field bred goldens. I have only been in North Texas for a year and half. They could be here, but I have not found them yet. Good field goldens are hard to come by - expect to wait and travel a bit.
I shot a note off to Wasatch in Colorado to see if anything is planned for 2016. Dr. Powell has been breeding field goldens for over 25 years. My dog is out of Wasatch Kennels. I will PM you with any more info regarding this.
Here is a link to two good breedings on retrieverforum. I know the Quartermoon dogs. I use to train at Rocky Mountain Kennels in Colorado. They have been all about field goldens for 30 plus years.http://www.retrievertraining.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?32-Classifieds-Golden-Puppies
There is also Wagzu Retrievers out of central Texas. www.wagzuretrievers.com.
They just had an outstanding litter with one of their top dogs and GRHRCH Redi for Yeti (www.swampcollie.com
), but I am guessing all the puppies are already spoken for.
Lastly, I plan to breed my dog soon, though timing depends on her cycle, personal travel, hunting, and work towards completing HRCH. I am finishing all of Cassie's health clearances now. http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=589035
