Chased this guy last year as a 6 year old, had a couple opportunities with a rifle but was determined to harvest him with my bow but it never happened. Well the quest was on again this year, after hunting hard for 3 weeks his male raging hormones got him in trouble. Saturday morning at 8:03 he appeared at 24 yards. My dream has been to harvest a main frame 8 scoring in the 150's. Last year as a 6 year old he was in the low 160's, this year at 7 he came in at 157 3/8. Neat thing is I got it all on video and must admit I got pretty emotional after the shot hit its make.
